Assam CRCC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

·         The applicant must be a regular in-service teacher at either the Elementary Level or Secondary Level, excluding subject teachers and postgraduate teachers, within their respective working district.

·         In-service contractual teachers under Samagra Shiksha, Assam (including State Pool Teachers) in the working district are eligible.

·         Teachers applying must match the medium-specific cluster they belong to.

·         Single teachers specializing in Hindi, Classical studies, Arabic, or Sanskrit in a school will not be eligible.

·         Teachers specializing in Mathematics and Science will not be appointed as CRCCs in any capacity.

·         Teachers from single or double-teacher schools are not eligible.

·         Headmasters, head teachers, or principals are ineligible.

·         Teachers from schools with a high pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) are ineligible. The PTR should not exceed 30:1 for Lower Primary, 35:1 for Upper Primary, and 40:1 for High School.

·         Teachers from schools that have not performed well in Gunotsav (Grade C & below) are ineligible.

·         Applicants must be under 45 years of age as of January 1, 2023.

·         Teachers who have previously served as CRCCs can apply up to the age of 50 as of January 1, 2023.

Assam CRCC Recruitment 2024 Period of attachment 

The period of attachment as CRCC shall not exceed 5 years, contingent upon the satisfactory performance report submitted by the Principal of the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in the respective district. Upon completion of the term or expiration of the attachment period, any deed of agreement executed between the Samagra Shiksha, Assam authority and the attached CRCCs shall automatically expire. As a result, Assistant Teachers attached as CRCCs will be returned to their original posts. The authority retains the right to transfer selected CRCC(s) back to their original posts or schools in the interest of public service at any time before the attachment period expires.

Assam CRCC Recruitment 2024 Salary Details 

Salary and Period of Attachment: Selected candidates will receive a salary equivalent to their parent post of teacher, with no additional allowance except for Contingency expenditure, subject to the budget provisions of Samagra Shiksha, Assam. The period of attachment as CRCC will be a maximum of 5 years, contingent upon satisfactory performance. Upon completion or expiry, CRCCs will revert to their parent posts.

Assam CRCC Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Graduation from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with a NCTE-recognized professional qualification (D.El.Ed./ B.Ed. etc.). However, preference will be given to Assistant Teachers with a Master's degree.

For candidates in Dima Hasao, Karbi Anglong, and West Karbi Anglong districts, the minimum qualification is Graduation from a University recognized by UGC. However, preference will be given to Assistant Teachers with D.El.Ed./B.Ed. etc.

For candidates in Garo medium clusters of Kamrup and Goalpara districts, the minimum qualification is Graduation from a University recognized by UGC. However, preference will be given to Assistant Teachers with D.El.Ed./B.Ed. etc.

Proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Internet browsing, etc.

Preference Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's Degree and TET qualification, as well as those with at least 5 years of teaching experience as Assistant Teachers in government/provincialized schools.

Age Limit and Other Eligibility: The maximum age limit is 45 years as of January 1, 2023, with an exception of 50 years for teachers who have previously served as CRCCs.
