SPMCIL Recruitment 2024 Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit for candidates will be relaxed as follows:
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): By 5 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC): By 3 years
Persons with Disabilities (PWD):
UR/EWS: By 10 years
OBC: By 13 years
SC/ST: By 15 years
Ex-Servicemen:
Length of service rendered in Armed Forces plus an additional period of 3 years, subject to a maximum age of 50 years.
SC/ST: 8 years
OBC: 6 years
Widows/divorced women/women judicially separated who are not remarried (For posts at W-1/B-3 level):
UR/EWS/OBC: Up to 35 years
SC/ST: Up to 40 years

SPMCIL Recruitment 2024 Selection Procedure:
Selection for the posts will be conducted through an online examination of objective type.
The objective type of online examination will include the following tests for Supervisor (TO-Printing/Tech Control):
PART-A:
General Awareness: 15 questions, 15 marks
English Language skills: 15 questions, 15 marks
Numerical Aptitude: 15 questions, 15 marks
Reasoning Aptitude: 15 questions, 15 marks
PART-B:
Technical Subject (Subject Pertaining to Specific Stream): 60 questions, 90 marks
Total Duration: 120 minutes for PART-A, 60 minutes for PART-B, making it a total of 150 minutes.
The objective type of online examination will consist of the following tests for Junior Technician (Printing/Control/Fitter/Welder/Electronics/Instrumentation) and Fireman:
PART-A:
General Awareness: 15 questions, 15 marks
Arithmetic Ability: 15 questions, 15 marks
Basic English Language skills: 15 questions, 15 marks
General Intelligence and Reasoning: 15 questions, 15 marks
PART-B:
Technical Subject (Subject Pertaining to Specific Stream): 60 questions, 90 marks
Total Duration: 120 minutes for PART-A, 60 minutes for PART-B, making it a total of 150 minutes.
The objective type of online examination will consist of the following tests for Supervisor (OL):
General Awareness (with special emphasis on Computer Knowledge): 20 questions, 20 marks
General English: 20 questions, 20 marks
General Hindi: 20 questions, 20 marks
Test of Domain Knowledge which includes Hindi to English and vice-versa translation Skills (Which includes Hindi & English Comprehension): 60 questions, 60 marks
Total Duration: 120 minutes.
The examination for Jr. Office Assistant (B-3 Level) will be conducted in two phases:
Phase-I:
First Computer-based typing test in English @ 40 wpm or in Hindi @30 wpm will be conducted.
Candidates have to indicate their preference of Language (Hindi/English) of typing test while filling their online application form.
Criteria for evaluation of typing test and other instructions are attached as Annexure-II and Annexure-III. Candidates can attempt the Typing Skill Test either in Hindi or in English language (as opted by Candidates in the Online Application form).
Phase-II:
Those candidates who qualify in the typing test will be called for an online examination.
The typing test will be of qualifying nature, and final selection will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Phase-II online examination.
The objective type of online examination will consist of the following tests for Jr. Office Assistant:
General Awareness: 30 questions, 30 marks
Computer Knowledge: 30 questions, 30 marks
English Language skills: 30 questions, 30 marks
Numerical Aptitude: 30 questions, 30 marks
Reasoning Aptitude: 30 questions, 30 marks
Total Duration: 120 minutes for Phase-I, 150 minutes for Phase-II.
SPMCIL Recruitment 2024 Examination Details:
The online examination consists of objective-type questions divided into multiple sections. Candidates are required to pass both Part A and Part B sections, covering different subjects related to the respective positions. The examination is bilingual, available in both Hindi and English languages.

SPMCIL Recruitment 2024 Examination Fee:
Candidates belonging to UR, EWS, and OBC Categories are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 600/- (inclusive of GST).
Candidates belonging to SC/ST and PWD categories are exempted from payment of the application fee. However, they are required to pay Rs. 200/- towards Intimation charges.
The examination fee of Rs. 600/- (including GST) must be paid online as per the method explained in para 15B of the advertisement.
Any transaction charges levied by the bank for the payment of the application fee are to be borne by the applicants.
Payment in any other manner will not be accepted, and candidates who do not adhere to the specified payment method will be considered ineligible.
The examination fee, once paid, is non-refundable.
