English Stenographer

- Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board

- Certificate in Computer Training & Shorthand from recognized Institution

- Certificate in Computer Training & Shorthand from recognized Institution

- Minimum speed of 80 Words Per Minute in Shorthand and Typing speed of 30 Words Per Minute

- Satisfactory skill in computer operation

- Satisfactory knowledge and skill in Computer operation and application

Lower Division Clerk

- Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board

- Certificate in Computer Training from recognized institution

- Certificate in Computer Training from recognized institution

- Satisfactory skill in computer operation and typing

Process Server

- Class-VIII from any recognized School/equivalent institution

- Basic knowledge in computer operation (desirable)

Group-D (Peon/Farash)

- Class-VIII Pass Certificate from any recognized School/Institution

Mode of Examination

English Stenographer

Paper-I: General English (100 marks) - 100 multiple choice questions covering spelling, correct use of words, correctness of sentences, use of common phrases, synonyms and antonyms, and punctuation. Duration: 1.5 hours. Successful candidates proceed to Paper-II: Dictation and Transcription (200 marks), followed by 

Paper-III: Typing in Computer (100 marks) where candidates are required to type from manuscript accurately on the Computer (at not less than 30 Words Per Minute). Personality Test & Computer Operation Test (30 marks) will also be conducted. Final Panel preparation based on the results of Paper-II, Paper-III, Personality Test, and Computer Operation Test.

Lower Division Clerk

Stage-1: Written examination (100 marks) comprising multiple choice objective type questions in English, General Knowledge/Current Affairs, and Simple Arithmetic. Duration: 90 minutes. 

Stage-II: Subjective examination (100 marks) in English and Vernacular (Bengali/Hindi/Nepali). Personality Test & Computer Operation Test (30 marks) will also be conducted. Final Panel preparation based on the results of Stage-II Examination, Personality Test, and Computer Operation Test. Syllabus similar to Madhyamik Examination of West Bengal Board of Secondary Examination.

Process Server

Written Examination (100 marks) comprising multiple choice objective questions on Simple Arithmetic, English, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs. Duration: 1 hour. Personality Test and Basic Computer knowledge test (30 marks). Final Panel preparation based on the results of the Written Examination and Personality Test. Standard of examination similar to Class-VIII.

Group-D

Written examination (50 marks) comprising multiple choice objective type questions in English, General Knowledge, and Simple Arithmetic. Duration: 1 hour. Personality Test and Computer Operation Test (15 marks). Final Panel preparation based on the results of the written Examination, Personality Test, and Computer Operation Test.

Night Guard

Written examination (50 marks) comprising multiple choice objective type questions in English, General Knowledge, and Simple Arithmetic. Duration: 1 hour. Personality Test and Computer Operation Test (15 marks). Final Panel preparation based on the results of the written Examination, Personality Test, and Computer Operation Test.
