Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, invites applications from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a research project funded by the Department of Science and Technology-Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB).

• Title: Dynamic controller and estimator design for Hybrid solar thermal power plant

• Stipend: Rs 31,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Duration: Initially for six months, extendable up to 2 years or project completion, based on satisfactory performance

Essential Qualifications

Education:

• B.E/B.Tech. or M.Tech/M.E./M.S. degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or equivalent streams
• First-class degree
• Qualified GATE score
• Desirable Qualifications
• Good academic record
• Knowledge in Control Systems, Instrumentation, and Numerical Analysis

Additional Information

• Candidates interested in extending their JRF position to a Ph.D. program as per VNIT rules will be preferred.
